Northampton Transport is the sister business of Northampton Events, a leading event furniture hire company in Tropical North Queensland.
During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Northampton Events was faced with a dire situation where virtually every single wedding and event was ruled unlawful and therefore left the business with little to no revenue for the foreseeable future. The owners of Northampton Events quickly recognised that although we are in the business of event furniture and decor hire, we are ALREADY in the business of TRANSPORT. |
Northampton Events already had at its disposal a formidable fleet of vehicles.
We had also developed a highly experienced and well-trained crew of drivers and assistants that are well-versed in the packing and delivery of fragile payload, while being acutely aware of required delivery and collection timeframes - you can’t be late delivering 200+ chairs to someone’s wedding reception! We also had in place the systems, processes and logistics software that positioned us perfectly to offer a highly efficient, cost-effective and professional transport service to businesses in Cairns and surrounds. Northampton Transport is now a proud member of the Cairns business community, helping drive business forward in Tropical North Queensland. |
